Small Tasks As RequiredWe currently have about a dozen members in our STAR Group. It is exactly as it says - anyone volunteering would only be asked occasionally to help with ad hoc tasks. A few examples might be:- helping with setting up before General Meeting serving tea and coffee at meetings welcoming new membersclearing up after General Meetings checking members cards at the AGM helping at on our stalls across the borough during the year. You would not be expected to always do the same things. The idea is that if we have a list of members to call upon, then when we need help with something we can email the STAR Group with details of the job that needs doing. If it is something you can help with, then just us know. If the job is something that you are not interested in doing, or perhaps the date is not convenient, then there is no obligation to volunteer! Please do consider being part of the STAR Group, as it will help us enormously. Also it could be a really good way of getting to know other members. The more members we have in the group, the merrier!
