The Antiques Group meets on the second Thursday of the month, at 2pm for 2.15pm. at Maggs Sandiland's home at Wallington
On alternate months we visit an appropriate museum or gallery We are frequent visitors to the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Wallace Collection and the British Museum. We recently visited the exhibition "Gold" at Goldsmiths Hall On these occasions we meet at the destination about 10.30 or 11 a.m. The trips usually end with a convivial coffee or lunch! Over the past year or so we have visited the De Morgan Collection, The Queen's Gallery, the Leighton Museum and the Arts and Crafts Palace at 2 Temple Place We intend to follow up our studies of William Morris with relevant visits.
