Currently we are studying English Philosophy in the twentieth century, one philosopher at a time.  We have already begun with G.E. Moore, Bertrand Russell and Ludwig Wittgenstein.  In September 2012 we began again, with A.J. Ayer's Language, Truth and Logic. 

People don't need to read each book, as Brian will produce summaries and excerpts. But it is necessary to be prepared to do some serious thinking!  It may be possible to include one or two newcomers. 

We meet at John and Anne Dodwell's home in Carshalton, every four weeks, on Thursdays from 10-12.
