London Appreciation A

We meet, as a group, at the beginning of the year to discuss and arrange our timetable of places to visit during the next twelve months. Each member of the group takes a turn in arranging and organising an outing. We do a trip once a month on the first Thursday of the month.

Our trips this year have included visits to the following places of interest:

The Cheapside Horde at the Museum of London,

The Turner Exhibition at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich,

The Houses of Parliament,

The Cabinet Rooms,

The Banqueting House,

Somerset House,

Kenwood House,

Kew Gardens,

Tour of BBC TV Broadcasting House.

We have planned a visit to the Tower of London and a backstage tour of the National Theatre later in the year.
